Like most Vancouverites, I have not taken the time to explore the nearby travel destinations. Visiting the Gulf Islands has always been on my list of places I would like to go. I put together a complete guide to a weekend away on the Salt Spring Island. I am sharing what to do, where to eat and the highlights of our trip. It is a fairly short trip. only two and a half hours to get to Salt Spring from Vancouver when you take the ferry.
