“Seasons change and our love went cold”
With the change of the seasons, I have to adjust my daily beauty regime; the winter months bring pale dry dull skin and subdued colours, so hot right?
In the fall I had posted my go-to skin products, so I thought I would do a round-up of all the products I am loving this winter. My winter beauty regime requires a little bit more upkeep; I don’t feel like myself unless I have a natural sun-kissed glow and bright radiant complexion (at least that is the goal).
A Touch Of Colour
I have been experimenting with sunless tanners for the face and I have finally found one that I am happy with. I mix a couple of drops of The Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops in Medium in with my regular daily moisturizer. Obviously a natural tan looks so much better, but I like that it is not orange and looks semi-natural. I also prefer a tan to even out my skin tone rather than using foundation.
Tip: For a natural-looking tan put a little bit of blush and bronzer on your forehead and your nose where the sun would naturally hit your face.
Facial Cleanser
Tatcha had been trending with some bloggers that I follow, so I thought I would give it a try. I am drawn to facial cleansers that exfoliate because I tend to get whiteheads. The Tatcha Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Cleanser lightly exfoliates, gets rid of all my dead skin, and it balances out the natural oils in my skin really well.
Combination Moisturizer
I am all in with Tatcha, the Tatcha Water Cream is phenomenal. It mixes really well with my self-tanner. I have noticed that my skin is brighter and softer. The combination of the moisturizer and the facial cleanser has been great for my skin.
Dry Shampoo
As one of my goals for 2020 was to try and start working out in the mornings, which means I am really putting my dry shampoo to the test. The IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo has an amazing smell, it doesn’t leave any build-up or white residue. I spray it in my hair before I hop in the shower and brush it out. I had been ride or die for Baptiste but IGK is now my number one.
The Perfect Nude
You heard me, I have discovered the Kim Kardashian inspired nude lip colour. It is the perfect mix between beige and pink. It is difficult to find the right nude because of my skin tone, it usually looks like I smothered concealers on my lips or they are just way too bright. This colour is perfect and great for the day-to-day. Hourglass Lip Stick in One Day adds the perfect amount of colour without looking overdone. It is semi-long lasting which is nice, that is the one thing I miss about matte colours, so I was hoping to find something with similar lasting power. An added bonus, you can buy purchase refills for when it runs out, so you don’t have to replace the whole lipstick.

Skincare and really taking good care of myself was one of my priorities for 2020, so I am always excited to share products that I love and that work really well for me. If there is a product you think I should try, let me know in the comments below!
