Finding bras and bikinis has always been challenging for me. I remember in middle school when all the girls got to look at cute padded bras, my only option was something that a grandma would wear. Getting cute bralettes at La Senza girl was not an option for me. It was very frustrating. Department stores were really the only place that I could find something in my size that didn’t have loads of padding.
Bathing suits were just as challenging. I would actually wear one-piece bathing suits the majority of the time because they had full coverage (and this was before one-piece bathing suits were cute). Luckily there are way more options now. I put together some of my fave bras and bathing suit companies for larger chests.
My Top Bra Choices
Cute, versatile and comfortable are at the top of my list when it comes to choosing the right bra for me. My go-to bras have minimal padding and don’t drastically change the shape of my chest. In my ideal world, I would love to go braless, so they just offer support but have a natural shape to them.
Natori
Natori comes in size 30A – 38DDD. They make my go-to for t-shirt bras, an added bonus, they have several different nude tones so you can find one that will fit your skin colour.
Warcoal
Wacoal is not as sexy, but what it lacks in aesthetics it makes up for in function. I personally love their strapless bra because it is so supportive and does not give me that boob bulge in the armpits that most strapless bras do. Their sizes also go all the way up to DDD.
Understance
I did a collaboration with them when they first launched and tried one of their bralettes. While I like it, I find that for day-to-day I need more support. I ordered the Zoe FlexWire Sheer Lift Bra, they have a broad range of sizes and it goes all the way up to a G cup! I also love that they are a Vancouver-based company.
My Favourite Swimwear Brands
I am a water baby, I am always out swimming so I tend to splurge when it comes to bathing suits, but I also try to find styles that I am comfortable in and have a minimal chance of wardrobe malfunction. Over the years I have really figured out what works for me and my body type.

Abercrombie and Fitch
I was turned onto their swimwear by some TikTokkers. I find that I can fit in their tops if I get a large and make sure the back is adjustable. They are not specific to cup sizes so I do feel they are not as full coverage as some of the other options.
Elce Swim
I discovered this bathing suit brand when I was in Bali, I loved the fabric. It is all textured and very thick. I ended up buying two of the same swimsuits just in different colours. I found the thicker strap top was very supportive. I tend to shy away from styles that tie around my neck.
L Space
I love when styles come in separates, not only does LSpace have separates but they also have sizing for d cups. I find their colours and designs very attention-grabbing, anytime I have worn one of their swimsuits I get quite a few compliments.
Monday Swimwear
Instagram sold me on Monday Swimwear. It was specifically designed for women of all shapes and sizes, they offer sizes that fit up to an E and F cup. I have ordered two of their bathing suits now and I am super happy with the quality of them.
Left on Friday
I was first turned on to this brand by Jessica Alba. I was drawn to it because they create swimwear for people who are active at the beach, so it is perfect for paddleboarding, they also have bottoms that are meant to really suck you in! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they also offer a line for d cups.
I am always looking to try out new brands, so let me know if I left out any of your favourites!
